Category: Infectious Diseases Campylobacter jejuni has a febrile prodrome before the diarrhea occurs. Symptoms include fever, malaise, abdominal pain/cramps, tenesmus and watery diarrhea that often becomes bloody. Nausea and vomiting may occur in some patients.
